Cover 18 Process

Here is the cover for issue 18. A fun action shot of Mr. Wolf-Man and company. Plus I included a more detailed than normal step by step process thing. I think the images are pretty self explanatory so I'll spare you my commentary. Thanks for checking it out!

New paint.

Hey, hey! You may notice I changed the look of things around here a bit. It was long overdue. I hope you like green!

So too avoid a post with no art. Here are a couple recent non-comic projects that I have done. It is kinda fun to mix things up a little, but nothing really gives the satisfaction of finishing a comic page.

14- Behind the scenes

Back again. Here are some side by side comparisons of my layout and the final inked art for some pages from issue 14. My current process (which seems to be changing regularly if you compare to older posts on this blog) is to do a rough layout (shown below) scan it, enlarge it and print it in light blue on to the art board. Then I tighten up the detail a bit in pencil (not shown below) and ink it (shown below). Then scan it again and its off to Fco for colors.
