Cover 15

Here's another sneak peak at an upcoming cover. Its a prison riot! The first 2 sketches were a little simpler and designy. But we felt that something showing more of the guards, and the prison would be cool. This led to sketch C, which with a few little tweaks became the design of the final cover. Enjoy!

Wow, another cover posted already... great stuff!!
I'd love to see one of your early prelims used as a variant cover one day, I'd be all over it!

Your art rules. Do you ink digitally or hard copy??

Basically the same comment/question as Wayne... but with a secondary followup demand. You need to get back up to Traverse, because I had to work last time you were up, and I've got some things I need you to sign.

Thanks all. Regarding the inking questions. I ink by hand baby! I mix up tools a lot, but mostly use Staedtler marker pens, Pitt brush markers, and a Scharff #3 size 'real' brush. The cover for 15 was inked mostly with the Scharff, and some pen work for small details.

Brad- No plans right now, but hopefully we can make it back up that way come summer. We had a great time, and I got a bunch of 25¢ books.
