I'm in the papers...

...and on the web also. The local newspaper did a story on me that came out today. Its kinda funny, for years I have lived the lifestyle of work during the day and draw in the evening and weekends. but seeing it written in print in an actual newspaper, makes it seem impressive. Almost like it is not me that is being discussed. Odd. Anyway, for those not in the Lansing, Michigan area here is the link to the article-

Also, a week or so ago Robert talked about Wolf-Man in his column on CBR-

Oh, for those who come here to see pictures and not to read words, sorry for the lack of updates (I am pretty sure this has resulted in nobody coming here anymore, but anyway). All the stuff I have been drawing lately has been Wolf-Man related. I don't want to give away any pages, but here is a character design for a guy who appears in an upcoming issue.

Hi Jason. I saw your artwork in the LSJ today and looked you up. I'm a comics "artist" as well and the first thing I'd advise you to do is get a ComicSpace profile. You can host sketches, random inks, character designs as well as completed pages there for free...and it's a great network for comic book artists such as ourselves. Anyway, good day. Love the stuff.

I still stop by for a visit. Read your article from the paper you linked to, I see how you would feel like you're reading about someone else. It sounds well deserved though. Congrats.

Looking forward to May 5th! Looks like Image is pushing this well. Of course with Kirkman bringing in his following and your art just clicks well for this sort of thing.

Have a good one!

Hey all thanks for the comments! Hope the book met your expectations. Yeah overall I need to have more of an online "presence", but crap I need to draw the book too :) So we'll see. I will try to be better about updating this blog though.

Dusty, Thanks, glad you liked it. Its no Lazarus 5, but I am working on it :)
